U.S. Army is Hiring a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Near Twin Falls, ID
Daily Duties:
- Maintain military vehicles, their associated trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
- Inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and testing military vehicles and material handling equipment systems, subsystems, and components.
- Service automotive electrical systems including wiring harness, and starting and charging systems.
- Perform vehicle recovery operations.
Required Training:
- 10 weeks of Basic Training
- 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
- Maintenance & Repairs
- Electronic Troubleshooting
- Electrical Systems
- Medium/Heavy Truck - Brakes (T4)
- Medium/Heavy Truck - Diesel Engines (T2)
- Medium/Heavy Truck - Drive Train (T3)
- Medium/Heavy Truck - Electrical/Electronic Systems (T6)
- Medium/Heavy Truck - Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems (T7)

- Contract: Must enlist into the Army or Army Reserves *This is not a civilian position
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
